The move was made possible thanks to the help and strong support of the Nanshan District Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports in Shenzhen, and the Peace Elite League – the PUBG league Wolves compete in.
As one of the leading cities in esports development in China, Shenzhen sees the esports industry as an essential area for its development on strategic emerging industries and future industries and Nanshan District is committed to supporting the development of the esports industry.

Wolves, one of the earliest Premier League clubs to enter the esports scene, are committed to becoming a global esports giant. The club have strategically invested in the North American esports giant Evil Geniuses as well as recruiting a Rainbow Six Siege team in Europe.
In China Wolves has seven teams, including Honor of Kings, PUBG mobile, QQ Speed, FIFA Online, Call of Duty Mobile, Identity V and Naraka: Bladepoint. Wolves Esports are also carrying out an in-depth design on the whole industry such as esports competitions, an esports offline complex, esports merchandise and esports live, committing to the comprehensive development of esports industrialisation.
As well as competing under the name Shenzhen Wolves, the two teams will also have symbols of Shenzhen and Nanshan District in the design of their jerseys and other esports clothing. The official announcement video will be shown at Molineux on 18th February.
