Nigma Galaxy had made it to the Riyadh Masters quarterfinals last time around, but they are not in their best form at the moment. They suffered relegation from DPC WEU Division I and had a subpar start to their quest for a top-flight return, having lost two of their first three Division II series. Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi’s side must win the remaining five series to stay alive in the race for the top two.
Quest Esports, on the other hand, enter the qualifiers with great momentum after their impressive third-place finish in the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3: Division I. The Saudi Arabian organization is gearing up for the upcoming Bali Major and has already taken steps to strengthen the team. They have recruited Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf, formerly of Nigma Galaxy, to fill the offlaner position. Oleh “kaori” Medvedok and company are also actively seeking other opportunities to enhance their roster before the new tour begins.
