Lawrenceburg Esports Unveils New State-of-the-Art Arena

The esports industry expands with each passing year, with numerous universities now awarding scholarships to skillful players.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg High School’s Esports team is elevating their game.

On Monday, a cutting-edge Esports arena was revealed at LHS.

The arena boasts of new gaming consoles, PCs, headphones, and chairs.

In the last few years, the LHS Esports team has expanded at an exponential pace. They concluded their inaugural competitive season with the Indiana High School Esports Network in the spring of 2022.

By the close of their unfolding competitive season, the Lawrenceburg Super Smash Brothers (SSB) squad advanced to the state finals.

Presently, 30 high school student-players participate in autumn and spring championships under the guidance of Coach Carrie Stegemiller.

Their state-of-the-art Esports arena was funded by a $20,000 Elevating Education grant from Altafiber.

On Monday, a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony took place with the company’s representatives present.
