CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — Michael L. Morley, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with attempted petit larceny. Morley, an inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail, allegedly took personal property from jail staff during movement to a program. His actions were witnessed by two officers, and the property was immediately recovered. Morley was arraigned and held with nominal bail on the new charge.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Peter D. Gage Jr., 39, of Jamestown, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated. Officers observed a vehicle make an improper right hand turn onto Prendergast Avenue at 10 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle reportedly drove into the oncoming lane and then up over the curb. An investigation determined that the operator of the vehicle, identified as Gage, was driving in an intoxicated condition. Gage was processed and released with traffic tickets.

¯ Mark A. Milliman Jr., 21, of Sherman, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane, no/inadequate lights, and speed not reasonable and prudent. Officers observed a vehicle traveling on Crescent Street at a high rate of speed with no lights on. An investigation determined that Milliman had been operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was processed and released with traffic tickets.
