The Daydream skin collection is all set to celebrate the spirit of California.
The upcoming set was unveiled by Valorant data miner ValorLeaks on Twitter, consisting of skins for Classic, Phantom, Operator, Judge, and melee weapons. ValorLeaks has also announced that the collection falls under the deluxe tier bundle category, suggesting it will be priced at around 5,100 VP.
The skin’s look complements the Los Angeles-inspired theme throughout Valorant Champions 2023. The tournament features an elite 16-team competition in this year’s Valorant world championship scheduled from August 6 to 26.
The Daydreams skin collection embodies the thrill of Valorant Champions 2023
The skin’s design matches the 2023 Valorant Champions Los Angeles theme, taking cues from the city’s look and feel.
The design features a variety of elements such as stickers, a basketball hoop, quick rollerblades, peaceful palm trees swinging gently, and a color scheme of purple and golden, in line with the colors of the city’s famous home team, the Los Angeles Lakers.
As per ValorLeaks, the melee skin showcases a crowbar design, indicating that it could display axe animations and inspect moves.
As for the Daydreams collection, it remains unclear whether it will include unique animations or finishes. Generally, deluxe skins might not have animations or sound effects, although a few might possess basic green screen-like effects.
The collection is expected to debut in the upcoming Valorant patches before Episode 7 Act 2 commences on August 29.
