The regional attributes in the Runeterra Reforged theme of Teamfight Tactics Set Nine features the raw power of Noxus, as seen in well-known champions of League of Legends such as Samira and Katarina. This particular trait contributes significantly to inflicting damage and its intensity increases as players fall.
Here is an overview of the functioning of the Noxus trait in TFT Set Nine and a list of all units possessing this trait.
Understanding the Noxus trait in TFT Set Nine
The Noxus trait offers both a standard buff for all Noxus units and a progressive one based on combat. While Shurima focuses on attacks, and Freljord concentrates on time, Noxus derives its strength from the number of different players you defeat in combat and how many players have been defeated.

The Noxus trait enhances the health, ability power, and attack damage of all its units in proportion to their number. At the start with three Noxus units, they get increased health of 160, ability power of 16, and 16 percent extra attack damage. When the count reaches six Noxus units, these figures increase to 300 HP, 28 AP, and 28 percent AD. Eventually, at nine Noxus, the units are bestowed with 500 HP, 45 AP, and 45 percent AD.
An additional reward for defeating adversaries is centered around the aim to outplay all seven other players in the lobby. Achieving this grants a 10 percent boost to the health, ability power, and attack damage perks that the trait provides. Therefore, with a lobby of seven players, you can receive a maximum of a 70 percent increase.
This implies that winning is crucial, as the only alternative to obtain these 10 percent increments is the exit of other players. A Noxus leaderboard streak yields the best returns.
List of Noxus units in TFT Set Nine
- Cassiopeia (Noxus/Shurima/Invoker)
- Samira (Noxus/Challenger)
- Kled (Noxus/Yordle/Slayer)
- Swain (Noxus/Strategist/Sorcerer)
- Darius (Noxus/Juggernaut)
- Katarina (Noxus/Rogue)
- Sion (Noxus/Bruiser)
With a sum total of seven Noxus units, there’s a deficiency of base units to attain the full nine Noxus advantage. To compensate for this, players will need to obtain a combination of Noxus Emblems or enhancements that add an extra Noxus member (or members) to their team.
Concerning synergies, one of the most powerful ones has been the Slayer trait, primary because it awards units with Omnivamp – a healing ability based on damage done. This trait meshes well with units like Kled. Additionally, equipping Katarina with a Slayer Emblem makes her a formidable opponent. Shurima is another trait that fits well with Noxus, due primarily to units like Cassiopeia and Swain sharing traits with characters like Azir. Bear in mind when trying to blend Noxus with other attributes that you likely won’t reach the maximum nine-Noxus boost.
