Seton Hall Alumnus Appointed Inaugural Esports Coordinator

Kevin Craig, an honored graduate of Seton Hall University, has recently been appointed the first Esports Coordinator at Stony Brook University (SBU). As a previous League of Legends Esports Champion and an important part of the Seton Hall BIG EAST Championship team, Kevin’s commitment, proficiency, and leadership are highly respected within our institution and in the competitive gaming world.

Craig’s rise from a notable player to a leadership role in SBU’s expanding esports program illustrates the mentality of greatness fostered at Seton Hall University. Their program has seen significant success under his leadership, which includes being crowned the Redbull Campus Clutch NY Regional Champion in Valorant, achieving the title of Fall 2023 NACE SSBU Grand Champions, Fall 2023 NECC SSBU Grand Champions, and being declared NACE Varsity Plus Valorant Division Champions.

Seton Hall’s lessons and experiences have been crucial to Craig’s success, as he mentions, “The knowledge I gained as a student and player for the SHU Esports program was so valuable that when I joined a new program, I was equipped to immediately develop Stony Brook Esports into a top-tier program.”
