Second Round of CHSAA’s Esports’ Mario Kart 8 Tournament Has Been Completed

AURORA – The initial round of the MarioKart 8 Deluxe postseason tournament sponsored by Colorado High School Activities Association was accomplished on Monday. Eight teams made it to the quarterfinals, which are scheduled for April 24, Wednesday.

In the next round, all the higher-seeded teams made it to the quarterfinals. Only two teams could reverse the seeds. Rocky Mountain School was the only one with several teams till now. But in this round, Denver North’s “North Kart A” defeated Rocky Mountain’s “RMHS Lobos JV” team.

The teams will get only one chance in the quarterfinals to advance to the May 2nd in-person final at Localhost. This match is slated for Wednesday, April 24. The quarterfinal victors on the April 24 will have the opportunity to progress.
