Top Counter-Strike teams in Europe will kick-off their journey to the inaugural CS2 Major at the PGL Major Copenhagen European RMR A. Europe, the dominant region in Counter-Strike for a while, gets 17 out of the 24 slots for the Major scheduled for March. The first eight teams for the Major will be determined in the initial RMR in Europe.
This RMR features high-profile teams such as Virtus.pro, NAVI, G2 Esports, Team Falcons, and the IEM Katowice 2024 runners-up, FaZe Clan. A few dark horse teams like AMKAL ESPORTS, Eternal Fire, and Fnatic are also in the mix. Keep reading for more about this exciting tournament.

Format
The tournament, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 European RMR A, consists of five rounds with total of 33 games. All games are best-of-ones except for the advancement and elimination games, which are best-of-threes. The Buccholz system will decide the matchups from Round 3 onwards.
