N Hyper Esports clinched their position in the 2023 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) by ranking first in the North American regional standings. The standings were determined by the points gathered in PMPL Spring and Fall this year. They had an impressive performance in both seasons earning a total of 1630 points.
The Global Championship’s League Stage is scheduled to kick off on November 2 and involves 48 PUBG Mobile teams across the globe. 29 of these teams have already been locked in for this stage following the conclusion of their regional official events.
N Hyper Esports delivers consistent performance in regional PMPLs, securing their spot for PMGC 2023
The team, led by Xifan and formerly part of Nova Esports, has exhibited remarkable consistency. N Hyper had an exceptional run during the 2023 Spring PMPL League Stage, topping the chart with 648 points. In the Grand Finals, they finished as runner-up, only trailing the champion, YKG, by four points and amassing a total of 813 points for this season.
The PMPL NA Fall Split concluded on September 24, and N Hyper showcased a top-of-the-game performance, winning their first significant title. They accumulated 198 points, averaging 11 in the Grand Finals. Though they secured only one Chicken Dinner, they exhibited aggressive gameplay in many matches and dominated the League Stage with a score of 689 points.
Demonstrating phenomenal performance across both seasons, N Hyper cemented their position in first place with 1680 points. Young Kings Global, the PMPL Spring NA 2023 winner, stood second with 1397 points. Meanwhile, Mezexis Esports NA had to settle for the third spot after scoring 1135 points, struggling in the Fall edition’s League Stage.
The leading five teams from the PMPL NA Fall have moved forward to the Americas Championship Fall 2023, which includes 16 teams and is slated to run from October 5 to 8. The competition’s top four teams will earn a spot in the PMGC 2023.
N Hyper Esports is making their debut in the Global Championship and has their sights set on taking the trophy home to North America. Their IGL, Xifan, has been a competitive player since mid-2019, having taken part in multiple major tournaments, the experience from which will be invaluable to his team in the approaching PMGC.
