FUT Esports vs True Rippers

The OFF//SEASON VCT event Convergence is currently taking place in Bangalore, India. The Valorant tournament involves six teams battling it out for a $50,000 prize pool. Of these, five are teams from the Tier 1 leagues that have received invitations, while the remaining team secured its place through the closed qualifier event in India. The second day will feature two matches, beginning with the contest between Turkey’s FUT Esports and India’s True Rippers.

Just like Day 2, Day 1 also witnessed two matches, starting with a game between India’s True Rippers and Korea’s Gen.G. True Rippers performed exceptionally, pushing Gen.G to their limits. However, Gen.G managed an impressive comeback, winning the Bo3 (Best-of-three) series with a scoreline of 2-1.

The subsequent match between India’s Global Esports and EMEA’s Team Vitality concluded quickly, with the latter securing a victory in the Bo3 series with a 2-0 win.

FUT Esports vs True Rippers – Who will kickstart Day 2 with a victory at Valorant Convergence 2023?

Predictions

In VCT 2023, FUT Esports exceeded all expectations. The team from Turkey finished in the top three of the VCT EMEA League and participated in every international Valorant event. They made a few changes for VCT 2024, the most significant one being the induction of world champion, cNed. The team was known for their exceptional aim, and the inclusion of cNed has certainly improved their potential.

True Rippers took part in the Challengers League in VCT 2023. Unfortunately, their performance was inconsistent, causing them to miss the Ascension event. However, in 2024, they recruited Indian Valorant pros DEATHMAKER and hellff, which seems to have positively impacted their overall performance.

For this Valorant faceoff, FUT Esports has an edge given their staff’s greater experience. Nonetheless, True Rippers demonstrated their potential by pushing Gen.G to their limits during the first match of Convergence. Therefore, they could prove challenging for FUT.
