After a triumphant debut of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) Scholastic Esports Championships for North Carolina high school attendees, UNCG is eager to introduce young minds to the latest advancements in gaming. This summer, UNCG will present esports and gaming summer camps aimed at children aged 8 – 14 years old.
The Esports Arena on the UNCG campus will host six one-week camps wherein each week, participants will delve into two main subjects. These range from game engineering & storytelling to 3D game design and gamecasting. This presents a fantastic opportunity for the younger generation to acquire skills in one of the most rapidly expanding industries.
