The teams for the Masters Madrid has been selected.
The leading Valorant teams globally, having competed and emerged victorious in four different regional leagues of VCT, will be congregating for the Masters Madrid.
From March 14 to 24, the best Valorant League teams from Pacific, Americas, EMEA, and China regions where they will compete in Riot Games’ first international Valorant LAN of the VCT 2024 season.
During the VCT Kickoff stage, competition was stiff, and only eight teams managed to secure their place in the Spanish tournament. The final list comprises the two best teams from each region.
Below are the participating Masters Madrid teams.
Full Roster of Masters Madrid teams
Pacific League team, Paper Rex, was the first to qualify for the Masters Madrid.
The Singaporean-based team stormed through the Pacific League Kickoff tournament. Having finished as runners-up at the Valorant Champions 2023, PRX needed to secure one group stage win to advance to the playoffs. Their win came after defeating Gen.G 2-1.
Their pathway to Spain was secured after a swift 2-0 win over T1 in the playoff-semifinals.
Gen.G Esports was the second team from the Pacific Kickoff to qualify. Even though they had suffered a 2-1 loss to PRX, they had still managed to advance to the Play-In stage with a couple of 2-1 wins in the group stage over Rex Regum Qeon. They won the Play-In after defeating Team Secret 2-1 and Zeta Division 2-0.
A 2-0 victory over Pacific League heavyweight DRX in the semifinals saw Gen.G earn their place at Masters Madrid.

Participants at Masters Madrid are competing for championship points that Riot Games have reintroduced for the VCT 2024 season. The points will decide which teams proceed to Valorant Champions 2024.
A victory in Spain will bring the teams one step closer to this year’s Valorant World Championship.
