Will Honkai: Star Rail get a PvP mode?

Honkai: Star Rail boasts impressive combat mechanics, leading numerous players to wander if they will ever get the chance to use their honed abilities against their peers in the forthcoming time.

Upon its initial release, the game did not incorporate any PvP mechanics. Neither was there any mention of it in the developer’s future plans. Despite that, new modes like Swarm Disaster have been introduced in subsequent seasons, offering new end-game options and additional content to explore.

As of current, the only interactive features available in the HoYoverse gacha game include the friends list and a support option. The latter allows Honkai players to call upon a friend’s featured character to assist their own team during battles.

Using a friend’s character in support not only aids in combat but also earns them Credits in reward. However, besides this, there aren’t many ways to interact with fellow players.

Will there be PvP mode in Honkai: Star Rail future updates?

HoYoverse has not hinted any upcoming plans about the introduction of PvP in Honkai: Star Rail, so players are recommended not to hold high expectations regarding the same.

Moreover, the possibility of a PvP mode in future updates looks bleak as it isn’t a common feature in the developer’s games. Since its launch in 2020, even Genshin Impact has not introduced PvP into its gameplay options.

Adding to that, the developers do not seem to prioritize social features in their games. Therefore, players may have to wait for some time until more social features are implemented in their latest offering. Lastly, although leaks are common in HoYo’s games, nothing specific has surfaced for Honkai so far.

This article will be updated as more information becomes available.
