Wautoma Kiwanis hear eSports presentation

Subhead

Wautoma teacher and eSports coach Eric Plaster and senior Neven Meyer gave a presentation to the Wautoma Kiwanis Club at their weekly meeting. ESports is a varsity sport where students play against other Wisconsin schools.  There are presently 80 plus schools in Wisconsin that participate in the sport. Neven is the captain of the team and has been a member for four years.  He has been offered college scholarships because of his playing skills. Wautoma has been participating since 2018. That year they won the state championship.  They pointed out that eSports fosters communication among players, solves problems within the team competition and can lead to future job opportunities.
