In preparation for the highly anticipated final, Blast, an esports entertainment company and Nodwin, a major esports and gaming media company in South Asia, have convened this exhibition match.
Top gamers shared their excitement with Khaleej Times about being a part of this esteemed tournament in Abu Dhabi, downplaying rivalry pressures.
“No doubt, representing India in a prestigious event like the Blast Premier World Final is a matter of great pride for any esports team. This marks a watershed moment in India’s esports domain, as it is a unique platform to showcase our skills,” remarked Ritesh ‘Defaulter’ Sarda of True Rippers Esports.
“My teammates are eager to compete against top-level players, aiming to make a mark and uplift India’s status in the global esports community,” added Sarda.
Talking about his team’s participation, Sameer Ul Hassan ‘Bullet’ from Team WahWah expressed their exhilaration.
“The enthusiasm on our team is palpable as we prepare for this significant event at the Etihad Arena. We feel esteemed for the opportunity and look forward to participating in this major competition,” said Ul Hassan.
Global audience
The squad will compete before thousands of fans from more than 150 territories worldwide. Additionally, they will also have two elite global esports Blast Premier players on their team.
“We are thrilled to showcase our skills on this global platform provided by the Blast final. We eagerly look forward to taking on this challenge,” remarked Ul Hassan.
Sarda mentioned that such exhibition matches are a fun and entertaining complement to the event.
“While expectations might differ, it’s typically a great way for players to interact with fans and competitors.”

The Arena will open at noon and the show match and final schedules will begin post 2pm.
