First introduced in Tekken 6 in 2007, Leo hails from Germany and utilises the powerful fighting technique known as Baji Quan. Notorious for its explosive short-range power and swift elbow and shoulder hits, Leo’s combat skills promise to bring a new dimension to the Tekken 8 character roster.

The newly launched clip portrays Tekken 8’s Leo as a speedy, offense-focused character. With quick uppercuts and powerful elbow jabs, Leo relentlessly attacks opponents, smoothly moving into potent combinations with high juggle capability.

An interesting aspect of Leo’s moveset is the 10-frame punch-kick combo which smoothly transitions into the Jin Ji Du Li stance (KNK). Taking advantage of the unique Heat System in Tekken 8, Leo can execute series of powerful strikes. Notably, the 11-frame Rising Bei Zhe Kao (WS+4, 1+2) has been upgraded to a Heat Engager, leading to multiple mix-up opportunities.

The gameplay trailer concludes with Leo’s cinematic Rage Art manoeuvre. After thrusting the adversary backward, Leo pulls out a grappling gun, effortlessly swinging across the stage before delivering a bone-shattering shoulder hit sending the rival flying.
