Revenant Esports announce Paradox return

The arrival of Kasif “Paradox” Sayyed signifies the first player addition by RNT since its previous Indian-Filipino roster was disbanded in June of the previous year.

INDIA – The return of Kasif “Paradox” Sayyed to Revenant Esports has been publicized, with him joining as the initial recruit in the full team overhaul for the 2024 Challengers South Asia. The information was expected as there were earlier indications of his team entry along with Indian player Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar and other prominent figures in the eSports scene.

Paradox shared his excitement in a press release statement, “Rejoining Revenant Esports for 2024 fills me with excitement. Despite a commendable run in last year’s VALORANT Challengers South Asia, we couldn’t reach our ultimate aim. This year, we return with a more potent roster, all set to rule the region and achieve Ascension.”

Paradox, who was a part of Revenant Esports during the 2022-2023 season, aims to begin anew under the banner that he led to victory in the 2022 Esportz Premier Series. Revenant Esports ended the previous season securing 5-6th position in the 2023 VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 2, where Paradox often stood out as one of the top performers before his departure in June last year.

Post his first stint with RNT, Paradox joined Medal Esports in the OFF//SEASON, their notable achievement being the second runners-up position at TEC Challenger Series 10, losing out in the lower final to the ultimate winners, Orangutan.

With their new roster, Revenant Esports is gearing up for their first appearance in VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 1. They will compete against Jay “BADlove” Patil’s Van Dijk Fan Club in the initial round on Friday, February 2, at 8:30 PM SGT (UTC+8).
