The new Huntsman V3 Pro gaming keyboards have been unveiled by Razer, featuring Gen 2 analogue optical switches with adjustable actuation distance.
Created in partnership with esports pros, the Huntsman V3 Pro series will be offered in three different sizes; full, tenkeyless, and 60 per cent. The full-size version includes anything from a numpad to a special dial for sound and setting modifications. The tenkeyless model provides more room for mouse maneuvers by omitting the numpad while preserving the function keys and the aforementioned dial. Lastly, the 60 per cent variant eliminates the arrow plus F keys, the dial, and even the wrist rest, making it a compact and highly portable gaming beast.
All Huntsman V3 Pro models are equipped with Razor’s advanced Analog Optical Switch Gen-2 switches, featuring adjustable actuation levels between 0.1mm to 4.0mm. This allows players to customize the required distance for each key according to their gameplay style. Tactile sensations are excellent due to the switches being tuned to a 40g actuation force and tested for a lifespan of 100 million clicks. The Rapid Trigger Mode further prevents in-game delays by instantly resetting keys as they return upward — a must-have for FPS gamers.
Razer guarantees a high precision of each switch on all keyboards, all carefully calibrated at the factory. Users can also adjust the sensitivity of the Rapid Trigger feature incrementally by 0.1mm.
The Huntsman V3 Pro series supports adjustments on the fly along with detailed customization through Razer’s Synapse app, storing the settings directly on any of the six profiles of the keyboard. Press FN + Tab to select the actuation point, any key to verify its actuation height and a number key to set the desired actuation height. Exit and save by pressing the Esc key. Choose the rapid trigger mode by pressing FN + Caps, toggle on or off by pressing Caps, select your desired sensitivity by pressing the corresponding number key and save and exit by pressing Esc.
The Huntsman V3 Pro series is meticulously constructed, featuring an aluminum top plate with a brushed metal finish and textured doubleshot PBT keycaps for enhanced durability. The wrist rests are made of leatherette and connect magnetically to the keyboard.

Coming this October, the Huntsman V3 Pro models will be priced accordingly: the Huntsman V3 Pro at $249.99 / €289.99, the Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless at $219.99 / €249.99, and the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini at $179.99 / €209.99. These prices are on the higher end, as expected.
