The peacock belonging to Penny Channell will be displayed at WesBanco on Market Street in Parkersburg during December and January. Senator Amy Grady, Senator Mike Oliverio, and other legislators toured Wheeling Park High School during the interim legislative meetings. Governor Jim Justice spoke at the Communities in Schools Conference. A fire at 816 Market St. resulted in one fatality, with Parkersburg Fire Chief Jason Matthews confirming that the fire was on the top floor of the building. Smoke was visible around downtown. Officials with WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center donated medical equipment to the Parkersburg YMCA.
