What changes are made to Replicators in Apex Legends Season 20?

Replicators get a thrilling twist in Apex Legends Season 20; players will now be able to craft just a solitary item at a time, following which the Replicators will become “exhausted.”

This adjustment was brought about to address the manipulative tactics some players would engage in for undeserved Ranked Ladder Points. Such players would frequently craft Medkits to ensure their survival outside the boundary. Respawn Entertainment has noted this devious strategy and ensured it’s not an available option for players anymore. It also encourages players to strategize better when engaged in combat and general looting.

Apex Legends Season 20 introduces a slight variation in EVO Armors. These will not form part of the regular loot inventory anymore, confirms Respawn Entertainment. Instead, players will unlock a fresh armor tier with sustained game progress.

A Shield Core, a revolutionary item, will now replace the traditional armor exchanges. Shield Cores will power armor, which players can swap out for a substitute core when needed. Defeat opponents, and you can get their Shield Cores from their death box as a replacement for your current one. If you acquire a higher-tier Shield Core than your armor can accommodate, the surplus energy will be converted to Overhealth, which will decay over time.
