WoW MDI Global Finals 2024 crowned Mandatory players as winners
Following a series of fierce battles within various dungeons and time trials, Mandatory players Crims, Skylarked, Maystine, Stove, and Moadmoad emerged victorious as the champions of WoW MDI 2024! They secured a tight victory over Echo in the finals with a score of 3-2, taking the major portion of the $200,000 prize pool.
Between 8th and 11th March, the finest eight WoW MDI teams competed against one another in dungeons and fought bosses with rapid speed. Besides Mandatory and Echo, the competing teams included Perplexed, Bald Bandits, Eclipse, Last Hope, Dawgs, and Legendary.

In the inaugural round, Mandatory earned a 2-0 victory against Last Hope, moving on to quarterfinals where they beat Perplexed with the same score. In the semifinals against Echo, they managed a 2-1 victory. Despite being defeated in the semi finals, Echo fought their way back to the grand final for a rematch.

As the final match unfolded into an exhilarating fifth game in Black Rook Hold, both teams were competing closely. However, Mandatory’s effective use of Bloodlust and management of cooldowns permitted them to vanquish Dantalionax first. Consequently, they achieved an overall score of 3-2 and secured the WoW MDI 2024 title!

Mandatory relishes WoW esports triumph
Following their notable victory, a few Mandatory players shared their elation in an interview with the WoW MDI 2024 hosts. In this post-match discussion, one player revealed his plans of celebrating the victory with pizza and soda. Some team members also shared their joy about their win over Echo on social media.

Moadmoad, for instance, tweeted on X that he is still in disbelief about his team’s victory over the legendary Echo. He praised the close matches and the high quality of competition that the WoW MDI Global Finals 2024 showcased.
“The level of competition was unprecedented,” he shared. “All teams were exceptionally good!”
Anticipation builds for WoW AWC and WoW TFG
With the curtains drawn on the WoW MDI Global Finals 2024 for Dragonflight Season 3, players can look forward to more thrilling actions in the upcoming WoW esports. The forthcoming tournaments include Season 4 of WoW Arena World Championship (AWC) and The Great Push (TGP).
