The M5 World Championship group stage (also referred to as the M5 group stage) sees the best 16 teams competing in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for the world title and the majority of the prize pool of US$900,000.

All attention is directed at the three-time MPL Indonesia winners, ONIC Esports, and the MPL Philippines titleholders, AP Bren. Both teams are strong contenders predicted to showcase their superiority in the tournament.

From December 2 to 7, only the best eight teams will proceed to the playoffs where stakes are raised even higher.

The 16 teams that qualified will be divided into four groups and will compete in best-of-three matches following a single round-robin format.
