The BGMI Rising Star Showdown Season 3 finals began on February 9 and will run till February 11 in India.
Organised by RA Esports, as many as 16 teams are competing online in the BGMI Rising Star Showdown Season 3 finals.
Genesis Esports, Reckoning Esports, Gods Reign, Team Soul, Carnival Gaming, Chemin Esports, Hyderabad Hydras, FS Esports, Revenant Esports, Orangutan, Team Forever, Big Brother, Team 8Bit, Entity Gaming, GodLike Esports and Gujarat Tigers are the teams that are battling for the BGMI title.
The BGMI Rising Star Showdown Season 3 finals will see each team play a total of 18 matches, six matches each on the three matchdays.
The team finishing on top of the standings after all the matches will claim the coveted title.
Earlier, a total of 24 teams featured in the semi-finals held in a round-robin format across two weeks. These teams were split into three groups of eight teams each.
The top 16 teams progressed to the finals while the remaining eight teams were eliminated.
The BGMI Rising Star Showdown Season 3 finals has a total prize pool of INR 10 lakh. The winner of the eSports tournament will bag a cash prize of INR 2 lakh while the runner-up will claim 1.25 lakh.
Apart from team awards, the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the BGMI tournament will receive INR 50,000 while MVPs in the two semi-finals will get INR 25,000 each.
There are also awards for fan’s favourite player and favourite team, who will claim INR 25,000 each.
Live streaming of the BGMI Rising Star Showdown Season 3 finals is available on RA Esports’ YouTube channel. It is also live streamed on Rooter. Matches will start at 1:00 PM.
