The city of Davenport, Iowa, is beckoning esports enthusiasts from all over.
Around 350 contestants from 20 different states are all geared up for a two-day esports tournament at the Putnam Museum and Science Center, taking place on December 2 and 3.
The grassroots regional fighting game contest series has it’s inaugural two-day event being organized by Honeypot, in conjunction with Visit Quad Cities and hosted by esports tournament management team, Run it Down. The event has been named “Honeypot 6: Winter is Coming”.

The fiercest of competitors will battle it out in several games, including Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat 1, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, with minimum prizes starting at $1,000.
Moreover, spectators will get the chance to meet their favorite players and might grab an opportunity in giveaways.
Albert Rassavong, the Run it Down’s head event organizer, shared pride in bringing the Honeypot 6 to the Quad Cities. He describes the event as a celebration of talent, enthusiasm, and the lively esports culture.
