Mumbai, August 2023: Global Esports, one of India’s largest esports organizations, has unveiled its association with NUMBER, a leading brand of high-quality smart wearables and gaming earbuds. The collaboration names NUMBER as the Title Sponsor for the BGMI roster of Global Esports in the upcoming BGMS Season 2. Global Esports holds the champion title from the first season, triumphing over teams like GodLike, Orangutan, and SouL.
NUMBER, identified for creating gaming earbuds tailored to enhance the gaming experience, has recently launched the Super Bud Pro Series celebrating the revival of competitive mobile gaming in India. As a unique aspect of their collaboration, the logo of NUMBER will be prominently displayed at the center of the team jerseys of Global Esports during the entirety of BGMS 2023. The special month-long sponsorship emphasizes the close tie between Esports and technology, spotlighting their shared passion for innovation and redefining norms in their respective domains.
In light of the sponsorship, Rushindra Sinha, the Co-founder of Global Esports, expressed his delight, saying “Bringing NUMBER on board as our title sponsor for BGMS 2023 is extremely exciting. The second season of BGMS is slated to commence on August 4, 2023, and will feature 24 Indian teams. The events will be aired live on the Star Sports Network and Rooter at 9.30 PM IST. Hosted by Nodwin Gaming and Star Sports, the contest stretches over 22 days with a prize pool of INR 2,10,00,000 (over $250,000), and will be a LAN event with broadcasts in Hindi, Tamil, and English.

As one of the 14 teams that received an invitation to the tournament, Global Esports aims to use this platform to showcase their talent via their newly formed BGMI squad, led by Mayavi, the coach and analyst for their lineup. Global Esports had unveiled their full BGMI roster last month, introducing their latest addition, BGMI star player MAVI as IGL for the new squad.
