Tyson Fury promised excitement after a heated weigh-in ahead of his upcoming heavyweight showdown with Oleksandr Usyk tomorrow night.
“I’m going to knock this little f****r out cold,” Fury declared, leading to a intense face-off between the two.
After a cordial press conference to wrap up the fight week formalities, Fury erupted on stage with another verbal assault: “Forget about his belts, I’m going for his soul. He’s going down tomorrow, knocked out cold.”
Responding in a calmer tone, Usyk said, “Don’t worry, I will make sure you won’t be alone tomorrow.”
All of this unfolded following the weigh-in itself, where Fury weighed in at 262 pounds and Usyk surprised everyone with his muscular 233 ½ pounds.
