Robert Reedy and his daughter, Jade Rivera, organized a food and blanket giveaway Sunday in Jamestown.
The food was donated and served by Rivera out of her food truck, and the blankets were donated by many people and businesses in the community.
The giveaway took place in the former Friendly’s parking lot on Main Street.
Any leftover blankets will be given to the UCAN City Mission, Reedy said. “We are all human beings, why don’t we all help each other?” he said.
