A lot of major esports tournaments have favoured moving to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to join up with Gamers8 to be part of the mega festival that is being run in the country. The latest to join this fray are a collection of FIFAe events, as the FIFAe Club World Cup, FIFAe Nations Cup, and the FIFAe World Cup, will now all be held in Riyadh.
Each of the three tournaments will feature a $1 million prize pool, meaning the total prize money on offer at the Gamers8 festival has now reached $45 million. As for when each FIFAe event will take place the dates are as follows.
- FIFAe Club World Cup – July 6-9
- FIFAe Nations Cup – July 11-14
- FIFAe World Cup – July 16-19
As for what else will be featured at Gamers8, which starts later this week, a $2 million Fortnite tournament will take place, a $1 million Tekken 7 event, the $3 million PUBG Mobile World Invitational is being held, a $2 million Rainbow Six: Siege tournament is present, a $100,000 PUBG Mobile Regional Clash is featured, a $1 million Rennsport event will be held, as will a $500,000 StarCraft II tournament, on top of a $1 million Street Fighter 6 event, plus a $2 million PUBG: Battlegrounds tournament, alongside a $1 million Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event, a $2 million Rocket League tournament, and leading the fray, a $15 million Dota 2 Riyadh Masters event.
