Following the successful initial UNCG Scholastic Esports Championships for North Carolina high school students, UNCG aims to extend the reach of state-of-the-art gaming knowledge to younger generations. This summer, UNCG is set to host esports and gaming summer camps for kids aged 8 – 14.
These camps will be conducted in the Esports Arena on campus. It involves six, one-week sessions where attendees get to explore two major topics every week. From the mysteries of game engineering and storytelling to 3D game design and gamecasting, this camp provides a platform for youngsters to hone their skills and thrive in this rapidly growing sector.
