MANILA – The Collegiate Center for Esports and Converge joined forces ahead of the forthcoming Philippine Collegiate Championship.

Aspects like “direct peering with game publishers to the correct kind of router for optimal WiFi gaming” will be covered in the partnership, discussed by Converge Chief Operations officer Jesus C. Romero in a press briefing.

As the official tournament provider, Converge will host the competition at the Amoranto Stadium in November.

CCE Chief Executive Officer Stanley Lao called the collaboration with Converge a “game-changer” in every sense. He expressed excitement about hosting the largest collegiate Mobile Legends tournament in the Philippines and assured that every participant would have fair game experience thanks to Converge’s high-quality internet services.

School roadshows are currently being held by PCC while gamer-friendly Internet plans are being devised by Converge, set to launch in January.
