(KNSI) – St. Cloud State University plans to unveil the new Huskies Esports Arena on April 3rd at an open house from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
The venue will be located on the lower floor of the Atwood Memorial Center on campus. The event is open to everyone, from students to faculty and staff, even alumni and members of the community. Throughout the rest of March, there are Road to the Arena launch events, where students can get raffle tickets for more chances to win prizes at the official opening.
There will also be booths staffed by various student organizations talking about the opportunities to participate in esports, either for fun, in an extracurricular setting, or academically. University President Robyn Wacker will offer a short statement and a presentation on the school’s strategy to grow esports on campus.
