Does Remnant 2 support crossplay?
So far no information about the inclusion or exclusion of crossplay in Remnant 2 has been provided by the developer, Gunfire Games. However, the absence of such an announcement mostly indicates that the game probably won’t support crossplay at its launch date, July 25. If this presumption stands, users on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 will have to stick to their own platforms.
Most developers reveal appealing features of their game much in advance of its launch, for instance, several trailers highlighting co-op attributes on Remnant 2 and new worlds players can discover have already been released.
However, up until now, none of the promotional materials for Remnant 2 have hinted at crossplay, insinuating that this feature might not be under construction or might not be available during the release. Given that the first installment of Remnant supported full crossplay between PC and Xbox players, it seems plausible for the developers to implement some form of crossplay in the future, even if it only pertains to two out of the three platforms.
The current scenario suggests that PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 users must either team up with their platform companions or traverse the world of Remnant 2 alone.
