Scripters may not be a common problem in League of Legends, but when encountered on the Summoner’s Rift, they can be quite a nuisance. That said, a novel technique involving Xerath offers players a variant of “aimbot” when coupled with Kayn—and fear not, it’s a legitimate strategy that won’t get you banned.
Pressing the F1 to F5 keys on the keyboard in the game offers a locked view of one among the player’s four teammates. The camera angle remains focussed on a chosen ally and follows them around the Summoner’s Rift.
When a player controlling Xerath activates their ultimate ability, Rite of the Arcane, while locked onto a teammate, their shots will always land on target. A player has ingeniously combined the abilities of Xerath and Kayn to mimic scripts, enabling them to land every shot of the Magus Ascendant’s ultimate.
Kayn simply has to activate his ultimate, Umbral Trespass, on a chosen enemy champion. This results in Kayn latching on to the enemy for 2.5 seconds prior to exiting and inflicting damage.
When Kayn is attached to an enemy, Xerath can hold down the F key, hover the cursor over the screen’s center, and release arcane missiles with flawless precision. While there’s a small window for the enemy to evade the missiles by flashing out of range or using mobility spells, Xerath should be able to consistently land his shots.
This strategy is particularly advantageous for Xerath players who team up with a jungle duo since landing his ultimate can be tricky on account of its long-range and slow speed. The slow-moving projectiles can be easily sidestepped by characters boasting high movement speed or quick spells.
