Charles “Sonny” Shoe, 85, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away on October 19, 2022. He was born on January 22, 1937, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Gertrute (Rich) Crook.
Sonny was the pastor at Rosemont Chapel in Wintersville for 40 years and a member of the Carpenters Local 186 for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joan (Wukelic) Shoe; his son, Charles “Sparky” (Flora) Shoe Jr.; his granddaughter, Gigi (Rex) McCullough; his niece, Tami (Ken) Milhorn; his best friends, Ray and Sarah Cooper and Bob and Marge Scovronski; and his pets, Pepsi and Coke.
Per Sonny’s wishes, there will be no viewing. There will be a private burial at Union Cemetery.
