FaZe Rain has revealed his ideal purchaser for the esports and entertainment organisation FaZe Clan, expressing his desire for the streaming platform Kick to take over the company.

FaZe Rain is one of the original members of FaZe Clan. The esports and entertainment organisation hosts a range of high-profile creators and esports professionals.

Nevertheless, Rain’s perception of FaZe has deteriorated over recent months, most prominently criticizing the org for their decision to sign Stranger Things actor Grace Van Dien in late May.

Rain hasn’t held back with critique towards FaZe Clan’s operations, he even alleged that the org has been losing significant finances on its esports ventures after revealing the company’s financial details in a trending video.

Founding member of FaZe Clan, Nordan ‘Rain’ Shat, has expressed dissatisfaction with the current management of the company.

Rain prefers Kick to be the new owner of FaZe Clan

He is now voicing his thoughts about the future of FaZe Clan… and he’s receptive to a significant streaming platform taking control.

Rain was a guest on a July 11 episode of Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk podcast, during which he conceded that he would be pleased if Kick became the new owner of FaZe Clan.

“Everyone should cooperate,” he remarked, alluding to the organisation. “It’s not about selecting a side from an external investor party, like the ones I’ve spoken with, or even people like — Kick has been the goal.”

Kick is a substantial rival to Twitch, known for its more relaxed service terms concerning what can and cannot be streamed compared to its purple competitor, while providing an enticing 95/5 subscription split in favor of its creators.

Moreover, Rain confessed he has been attempting to negotiate with Kick about a potential takeover for some time, even prior to his latest disagreement with FaZe.

“I would appreciate if Kick were to purchase FaZe, as we seemingly uphold similar beliefs, opposing large corporations and so forth. I’ve been trying to start a dialogue with Kick for a considerable amount of time,” he said.

So far, there has been little response from FaZe Clan. Grace Van Dien, an area of contention for Rain, has remained silent about her disagreement with Rain and her current standing with the organisation since she appeared on a podcast more than a month ago.
