OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University esports team took home the KCAC Call of Duty conference championship on Friday evening.
It’s the third year in a row that the Braves’ squad has taken the KCAC COD Championship. Following conference play last year, Ottawa went on to finish third in the country in the Collegiate Call of Duty (CCL) National Playoffs. The Braves took home the CCL National Championship in 2019-20.
This year’s COD conference championship squad consists of Austin Miller, Michael Tobias, Ethan Moore, and Stewart Perry. The Braves defeated Bethany College 3-2 in the KCAC championship, following a 4-0 undefeated regular season.
