Zhilei Zhang weighs in nearly five stone heavier than Deontay Wilder in Riyadh

ZHILEI ZHANG is set to have a significant 68.2lb weight advantage over Matchroom captain Deontay Wilder in their upcoming clash in Riyadh on Saturday night.

The two heavyweights will face off in the fifth and final bout of the unprecedented Matchroom v Queensberry event at the Kingdom Arena.

Both fighters are looking to bounce back from recent losses to Joseph Parker, with Wilder suggesting that the loser of this fight will be having a retirement party.

Wilder weighed in at 214 1/2lbs, almost five stone lighter than Zhang who tipped the scales at 282 3/4lbs. Zhang was 8 3/4lbs lighter than his last fight against Parker.

The interim IBF title clash between Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois saw Hrgovic at 247 1/2lbs and Dubois slightly lighter at 245 3/4lbs.

WBA featherweight champion Ray Ford hit 125 1/2lbs for his defence against Nick Ball, who weighed in at 125 3/4lbs.

Hamzah Sheeraz and Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams both weighed in at 159 1/2lbs for their middleweight showdown, with Williams hoping a win will lead to a title shot.

At light-heavyweight, Craig Richards weighed 174 1/4lbs and Willy Hutchinson was comfortably under the limit at 174lbs.

WBA light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol, weighing in at 175lbs, is set to defend his title against Malik Zinad, replacing the injured Arthur Beterbiev.

Bivol is aiming for a unification clash with Beterbiev with a win over Zinad.
