Makalani Carey posted a team-high 10 kills and Kekua Richards had nine kills and three aces to lead the Seabury Hall girls volleyball team to a 25-16, 25-20, 25-15 victory over Lanai on Friday night in Lanai City.
Sofia Connor added six kills and two blocks, and Caelyn Hasegawa had two service aces for the Spartans (9-0). Seabury Hall can clinch the Maui Interscholastic League Division II regular-season title with another win over the Pine Lasses today.
Lanai fell to 7-2.
Also on Friday night, Maui Prep completed its regular season at 7-5 after defeating St. Anthony in three sets. Individual set scores could not be confirmed in time for The Maui News’ deadline.
Avery Kirkham had 11 aces, five kills and five digs, and Lauren Brown had five kills and three aces to lead Na Pueo. Lola Doherty added four aces, Tessa Chin had seven digs, two kills and an ace, and Josie Vasquez finished with three digs.
The Trojans fell to 1-11.
