PAT McCORMACK is unable to participate in the upcoming headline clash against Peter Dobson due to injury.
The 28-year-old was originally scheduled to be the main event at the Newcastle Arena on November 11 but unfortunately, he sustained an injury during training camp that prevents him from boxing.
This would have been McCormack’s first fight since his impressive stoppage victory over Tony Dixon in April, but he will have to wait a little longer before stepping back into the ring.
Nonetheless, the show featuring Mark Dickinson and Calum French will still proceed, as Matchroom is actively working to secure a new main event.
There are expectations for an announcement regarding the new headliner as early as Thursday.
