Ohio State vs. Michigan score: Live game updates, college football scores, NCAA top 25 highlights today

Is No. 3 Michigan on the precipice of doing it again? The Wolverines led No. 2 Ohio State 24-20 after three quarters and took a 31-20 lead early in the fourth quarter at Ohio Stadium as quarterback J.J. McCarthy and the Wolverines passing attack continue to exploit the Buckeyes secondary.

After throwing two long touchdown passes to Cornelius Johnson in the second quarter, McCarthy found Colston Loveland for a 45-yard score in the third quarter to give Michigan the lead. Making all of this even more unlikely is that Michigan star running back Blake Corum has missed most of the game. Corum started and had two carries but left and hasn’t returned since. That led to Ohio State crowding the line of scrimmage and daring Michigan to throw against it.

Well, the Wolverines have succeeded airing it out. McCarthy has three touchdown passes to Heisman Trophy favorite C.J. Stroud’s two, and he added a rushing scare at the start of the fourth quarter to put Michigan up double digits as it seeks to win consecutive meetings in The Game for the first time since 1999-2000.
