The death of a 27-year-old man at 618 W Boone St. Friday afternoon is under investigation by the Marshalltown Police Department, according to a release.
After responding to a 911 call about a man being injured and not breathing, the MPD arrived at the location to find Isaiah Montell Forest deceased. They described the circumstances as suspicious, but will not be releasing a cause or manner of death until an autopsy has been completed.
Though no arrests have been made, there is no reason to believe a threat exists to the general public, per the MPD. Assisting Marshalltown Police in the investigation of this death is the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
