Mother’s Day Doubles Tournament
The Thursday Evening Women’s City Park Tennis League will sponsor a Mother’s Day Doubles Tournament on Saturday, May 11 beginning at 9 a.m.
The plan is to be finished by 2 p.m., if possible. Matches will be held at the Parkersburg City Park.
There will be two or three divisions based on the number and level of players that sign up. You will be playing against players as close to your level of play as possible. You can play with your mother, daughter, son, or grandchild or you may adopt one for the tournament.
Entry fee is $15 per team. Entry fee will cover balls and lunch.
Please make checks payable to Thursday Evening Women’s Tennis League. We will be taking pictures of all participants. Deadline to enter is May 9.

Boston aces Oxbow
Brian Boston, of Washington, recorded a hole-in-one on Friday at Oxbow Golf Course.
Boston used a 6-iron to ace the 121-yard, par-3, No. 13 hole.
His feat was witnessed by Bryan Barrett.
