“I will again prove that I am completely innocent” – Dillian Whyte responds to ‘adverse’ drug test

DILLIAN WHYTE has responded to the news of his ‘adverse analytical findings’ in a drug test. The test result puts his rematch with Anthony Joshua at London’s O2 Arena next Saturday in jeopardy, as the fight has been cancelled pending a full investigation.

Whyte took to Instagram to express his shock and devastation upon learning of the adverse findings. He vehemently denies taking any banned substance and asks for the opportunity to prove his innocence through due process rather than being judged prematurely.

Whyte also reveals that he had insisted on 24/7 VADA testing for this fight, as he has voluntarily done for all his previous fights. This is not the first time he has been falsely accused, but he is determined to clear his name once again.

Whyte expresses his disappointment to boxing fans who will miss out on what promised to be a great event. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to find a last-minute replacement for Joshua in order to salvage the main event of the night. The undercard will still feature two heavyweight contests between Filip Hrgovic and Demsey McKean, as well as Derek Chisora and Gerald Washington.
