Harry Kane: Bayern Munich significantly short of Tottenham’s valuation after London meeting | Football News

Bayern Munich has fallen short of Tottenham’s valuation of Harry Kane following a meeting between representatives from both clubs in London. The gap in valuation is believed to be at least £20m, but negotiations are still ongoing. Bayern is prepared to pay a maximum of €100m (£85.7m) for Kane, while Tottenham wants at least £100m. Despite this, Kane is open to speaking formally to Bayern if a deal is agreed. Tottenham will also insist on a buy-back clause if Kane returns to the Premier League. Bayern would likely have to break their transfer record to sign Kane. Paris Saint-Germain is also interested in Kane but will not engage in a bidding war. There is a risk for Spurs in keeping Kane beyond the transfer window and potentially losing him on a free next summer. To encourage Kane to extend his contract, Spurs would need to become a side capable of winning trophies.
