Crawford urges Spence to back up his talk on July 29

A supremely confident Terence Crawford believes he can defeat anyone in any sport.

The Omaha welterweight expressed his self-assuredness at a media workout in Las Vegas, just days before what is expected to be the hottest fight of the year on July 29. At the T-Mobile Arena in Sin City, Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. will battle for welterweight supremacy and a place in the history books.

Crawford, well-known for his love of basketball and American football, is undeniably a talented athlete, and his self-belief seems to be stronger than ever.

“I think I could beat anybody in any sport,” he confidently stated. “That’s just my nature. I play to win. If I’m challenging you, I’m coming to win, and I wholeheartedly believe in that. It could be anyone, even if I’m playing one-on-one against Michael Jordan.”

After successful stints in the lightweight and super-lightweight divisions, Crawford is now determined to take on ‘The Truth.’ Both men are regarded as two of the best in the world and are focused not just on defeating each other, but also on establishing without a doubt who the superior fighter is.

“This fight means everything,” Crawford emphasized. “It’s the icing on the cake of my career. I’ve been eagerly waiting for this moment, and I can’t wait for it to happen.

“He believes he’s going to overpower and break me, but he’ll have to prove it. All his talk only adds fuel to the fire that’s already burning inside me. He’ll have to back up everything he’s saying when it’s fight night.”

“The welterweight division has witnessed many phenomenal fights in the past, and this will be another one next Saturday. The division also has a bright future with a lot of talented up-and-coming fighters. It remains a hotspot for the sport,” added Crawford.

Meanwhile, Crawford’s trainer Brian ‘Bo Mac’ McIntyre emphasized the magnitude of the fight and his expectations for an impressive spectacle.

“This is one of the best fights of this century, featuring two undefeated fighters and taking into account everything Terence has accomplished. It holds a lot of significance, and I anticipate a truly explosive showdown.”
