Carl Kenichi Yamasaki of Makawao, Maui passed away on Oc-tober 3, 2022. He was born on August 5, 1937 in Puna, Hawaii to Asao and Umeko Yamasaki.
Carl is pre-deceased by his daughter Karen Yamasaki. He is sur-vived by his son, Clay-ton Yamasaki; brother, Clyde Yamasaki and two nephews.
Services for Carl will be held at Nakamura Mortuary located at 1218 Lower Main Street, Wailuku, Hawaii 96793 on Friday, October 21, 2022. Family viewing will begin at 9:00 am; public viewing 10:00 am; Service 11:00 am with burial to follow at 12:30 pm at Maui Memorial Park located at 450 Waiale Road, Wailuku, Hawaii 96793.
Carl enjoyed fishing, bottle collecting, and trips to Vegas and going on cruises. He was a Painter for Fujikawa Painting, Endo Painting and JD Painting.
