Broncos vs. Chargers score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, live stream for ‘Monday Night Football’

The Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers are battling at SoFi Stadium for second place in the AFC West. While Russell Wilson and Co. have started the season very slow, that was not the case Monday night. Denver scored 10 points on its first two drives of the game, including a 39-yard touchdown reception recorded by rookie tight end Greg Dulcich, who is playing in his first career NFL game.

Justin Herbert didn’t let the Broncos keep momentum for long, however, as he engineered a 15-play, 82-yard drive in which L.A. converted four third downs on the way to an Austin Ekeler touchdown to trim the deficit to three points. On the Chargers’ final drive of the first half, an injured Dustin Hopkins was able to convert a 37-yard field goal to tie the game at 10 apiece. Just as soon as we thought we were headed into the halftime break with a tie score, Wilson found K.J. Hamler streaking down the field for a 47-yard gain with under a minute left. That big play set up a 27-yard field goal from Brandon McManus that gave Denver the lead right before halftime.

How both the Broncos and Chargers have begun the 2022 campaign was not ideal, but there’s plenty of football left to be played, and a divisional win under the prime-time lights could jump-start a run that leads to a postseason berth. Will the Chargers find a way to win their third in a row, or will the Broncos get back on track with their first divisional victory of the season? Follow along in the live blog below, as we break down this matchup as it happens.
