Agreement reached for Lawrence Okolie to face Kevin Lerena

Britain’s Lawrence Okolie is set to defend his WBC Bridgerweight title against southpaw Kevin Lerena, as confirmed by the sanctioning body.

In his last fight, Okolie reclaimed his title by knocking out Lukasz Rozanski in one round. With trainer Joe Gallagher by his side, Okolie dominated the fight and secured an impressive victory.

After losing his unbeaten record and cruiserweight title, Okolie bounced back quickly and is now ready to face Lerena, who is the mandatory challenger for the WBC Bridgerweight belt.

Lerena previously lost to Daniel Dubois but has since shown his skills with wins over Ryad Merhy and Senad Gashi. Despite a loss to Justis Huni in his last fight, Lerena proved his resilience and is now looking forward to challenging Okolie.
