Anthony Yarde (Light-heavyweight contender)
I believe that eventually, Beterbiev will figure Smith out and his calculated pressure will corner him and land the shots he needs. He mentioned that our fight was the toughest of his career, and at 38 years old, we don’t know what Beterbiev’s capabilities will be in the future. Smith is a dangerous fighter with a great left hook. If Smith can plant his feet and land the left hook, it could make for a very interesting fight.
Billy Nelson (Trainer)
I think Callum Smith will out-speed Beterbiev and ultimately stop him. I believe Beterbiev is deteriorating, and Callum Smith has adapted well to his new weight category. There might be an initial tough three or four rounds, but Smith’s youthfulness and added power at light-heavyweight will be the deciding factor.
Cyrus Pattinson (Welterweight contender)
I really hope Smith comes out on top. I’m supporting Smith at his new weight. I believe he was drained at super-middleweight. It’s going to be Beterbiev’s toughest fight so far, so I’m backing Smith to win on points. Beterbiev has taken a lot of shots in his career, and Smith can use that to his advantage. It will be a tough fight because Beterbiev is a fierce opponent.
Duke McKenzie (Three-weight world belt holder)
I predict that Beterbiev will win. I think Smith is a bit worn out and hasn’t been active enough. Beterbiev is a powerful puncher and a patient predator. He inflicts damage and knocks opponents out. Smith won’t be able to beat him. I believe it will be over in 10 rounds.
